Go Into All the World...






Journal 07.05 has a message from Mission Assist's President, Jim, about the year in review and what is slated for 2008.

Mission Assist is a team of disciple-makers (missionaries) going near and far to come beside (assist) churches and individuals and help them do the work of Christ.  We base our work on three heart principles and four working goals.

OUR HEART PRINCIPLES

• Every soul is eternal and needs salvation or encouragement.

• God has called us to help all the souls He brings our way, by sharing the Gospel or encouraging those who follow Christ.

• We teach others to do this same work- share the Gospel and strengthen those in Christ. 

 

OUR GOALS

 

• We encourage individuals and churches to leave their familiar surroundings to share the Gospel and encourage believers.
• We take senior pastors to visit pastors in other countries. They encourage one another in Christ. Their churches learn to work together.
• We visit foreign pastors and their families. We encourage them and help them in their ministries.
• We visit disciple-makers and their families, encouraging them where they work.  We build long term friendships with them.

 

We remain flexible for special directions and projects from God.  They may include evangelism and other types of ministry.  Such projects may fall outside our goals but within our ministry principles.  The MA board supports these projects allowing our team to help in special ways as the Holy Spirit directs us.
