Journal 07.05

We continue preparing to move into Europe and start house churches among the many ACP now open to the Gospel. We are looking into opportunities in Belgium and Canada where we would work among a large ACP population. We plan visits to both countries in 2008 to evaluate the possibilities in each.

We have witnessed the start of another house church--this time in Cairo. The church is made up mostly of young families and led by a dear and committed brother. He is a construction worker and is leading his co-workers to the Lord.

This summer we hosted leadership conferences in Egypt for the house church leaders and their wives, taking two US pastors and their wives to teach with us. We visited several house churches and a Baptist church in a small town, teaching and praying with them. Mission Assist is firmly committed to more visits to the house churches in the future. We have also developed a web site for Arabic speakers. The site holds audio file Bible studies designed for new believers or seekers among the ACP. The studies deal with the confusion they have between what the Bible says about the nature of God and the events of Christ's life and the falsehoods they have heard. The site is basic in design and content. We hope to enhance it in 2008 and distribute it to ACP who are seeking the truth.

We realize that the US economy is in difficulty. Both you and this mission must be wise stewards of limited resources. We pray for grace and God's provision for you.
